Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Translatable to your Discord server or using the Translatable dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Translatable provides automated message translation between Discord channels, alliance verification (gatekeeper), glossary management, and a web-based configuration dashboard. The service operates as a Discord bot and a companion web application.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• You are responsible for the content translated through the service. Translatable does not modify or censor content beyond optional moderation features you enable.
• You must not use the service to translate, relay, or distribute content that violates applicable laws.
• You must not attempt to circumvent usage quotas, abuse API endpoints, or interfere with the service.

4. Service Plans and Quotas

Translatable offers tiered plans with different usage limits. Your plan determines the number of messages and characters that can be translated per billing period. Exceeding your quota will pause translation until the next period or until you upgrade.

5. Translation Accuracy

Translations are provided by third-party machine translation services (Google Cloud Translation, DeepL, LibreTranslate). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any translation. Translatable is not responsible for miscommunication arising from translation errors.

6. Availability

We strive to keep the service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Translatable is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using Translatable at any time by removing the bot from your server and revoking OAuth2 access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or Discord's policies.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be announced via the dashboard or our Discord server.
